  • Go to your profile.

  • Click/Tap Manage Photo.

  • Select the album where you want to upload your photo.

  • Select an option on how you want to upload your photo.

  • After uploading, your photo will have to undergo a review process.

After uploading your photo, our anti-spam team reviews it first to ensure the uploaded photo wasn’t stolen or if it already exists on the web. Please give our team a few minutes to review your photo’s authenticity. If it passes, it will show on your profile automatically.

  • Only Premium members can share private photos. Proceed to the next section to find out how to switch to a Premium account.

  • For Premium members, you can freely share your private photos with the messaging feature. Go to the member’s profile and click Send Message. Click on the photo icon and select the photos you want to share from your private album.

  • Click GO PREMIUM on the top menu section.

  • Select your payment plan and the mode of payment you prefer. Then enter all the necessary details.

If you wish to get a refund, a TrulyAfrican customer service representative will have to assist you.

  • Go to Contact Us.

  • Select the most appropriate way to reach us.

TrulyAfrican accepts two modes of payment. We accept payment through Credit Card (Master Card and Visa) and Paypal.

  • To cancel your current subscription, you may contact our 24/7 Customer Service through Email or Live Support.

  • Click on your profile on the right hand section of your screen.

  • Select Contact Us and select your most preferred way to contact us to help you with your concerns.

  • For subscription cancellation on Google and Apple, you can contact our live support or our email support here.

  • Click on your profile on the top menu section and select Account Settings.

  • On the Change Emails tab, enter your new email address and click Save Changes.

  • To redeem your account, click Forgot Password? on the login page.

  • You will then be redirected to the Forgot Password page. Enter your email address and click SEND REQUEST.

  • Expect a message in your email with directions on how to change your password.

  • To block a user on TrulyAfrican, go to that member’s profile and select Block User located on more option.

  • Once confirmed, the blocked member will no longer see your profile or be able to contact you.

At TrulyAfrican, we highly encourage members to report if they notice any dodgy activities from other members.

  • To report a member, go to their profile and select Report User located in more options.

  • Please state the reason why you want to report that member.

  • You may provide screenshots to build a stronger case and click Submit Report.

  • Upon receiving your report, our team will investigate your case and apply the appropriate actions.

  • Click on your profile in the top menu section and select Account Settings.

  • On the Manage Account tab, click Deactivate Account.

  • Once deactivated, other TrulyAfrican users will no longer see your profile. But if you wish to reactivate your account, simply log in with your old email and password and your previous activity and profile information will be restored.

  • To retrieve your old TrulyAfrican account, just log in with your old email and password.

  • If you have selected the account removal option in the past, you won't be able to retrieve the account again. You will have to create a new TrulyAfrican account to access the dating platform.

  • Once deactivated, other TrulyAfrican users will no longer see your profile. But if you wish to reactivate your account, simply log in with your old email and password and your previous activity and profile information will be restored.
