About me

I am a man who is very comfortable in his own skin. I am not afraid to open your door or hold your purse. I am not afraid to admit when I am wrong and have learned that sometimes listening is better than talking or “fixing.” I understand I am not perfect and know that nobody is perfect, so I don’t place that pressure on the people I love and care for. I am constantly working on myself both emotionally and physically and love working towards becoming humble. I am not fake and will never strive to be somebody I am not. I am a aviation enthusiast and a private pilot. I have an engineering and logical mind and love long intellectual conversations, with coffee in the AM and wine in the evening. With all that being said, I have invested in understanding emotional intelligence and the value it brings to a relationship and how that affects long term growth. I am honest and open and wear my heart in sleeve. I love volunteering to help those less fortunate, because I remember where I came from. As a caveat, I have been hurt in the past, but I refuse to let that dictate my future or the woman I could be with. You can expect pure honesty from me and when I love, I love hard because I put in 100% to the person I’m with and don’t let past mistakes with relationships and failures dictate future.

Looking for

I am looking for intelligence and trust and a life-long partner, friend and lover. In this life we only have one chance to live and I am looking for a woman that is ready to build a life together. I am looking for someone who can have a conversation about the good and the bad. Someone who understands relationships take work and when time get tough can sit down and talk through the issues to make us a stronger couple. I am looking for woman that wants a 100% 100% relationship not 50% 50%. I am looking for someone that is independent and confident, and know what she wants without stepping on the faces of others to get what she wants. I am looking for a woman who is ok with me protecting her from the world when she knows she cannot be strong, and a woman that already has a passion for something I can begin supporting.
